About this item
This is a hand decorated butter dish which has been made from slip cast earthenware. The coloured slip is applied before the glaze and the digital transfers are long lasting. The transfer decoration is based on 1950's tin robots and I have drawn them using pen and ink. These are scanned and computer manipulated (scaled down) before being made up into transfers. Gold lustre adds a decadent touch. The butter dish can technically be put into the dishwasher but I do not accept any responsibility for cracks in the glaze or fading of colour that a hot wash may cause! (Placing of images may vary slightly from this photo as each item is hand decorated - ALL products show the same x4 robots.)
