About this item
This summer blanket is just a perfect size for a pram or buggy. It keeps the chill off when we have an overcast day. Or it adds colour to an otherwise dull day. Some people forget that when it's a warm day with a breeze, a baby can still get cold or catch a chill as they are not moving, they're sat still. This blanket is also suitable for grown up's (Smiles to self) I love a blanket on a chair at any time of the year, I was sat in the garden only the other day listening to the bird song, and a huge cloud came over head. Cue my trusty crochet blanket, popped over my knees while I was reading a book with a well earned brew. When the cloud shifted, I could, if I wanted to remove the blanket. (Happy Place). So, if you, like me, like a blanket to keep off the chill or indeed you have a child you want to protect from a chill this is the blanket for you. I have to say that although this is an acrylic yarn it's soft (not a squeaky scratchy yarn). I would be happy to send a small swatch of this yarn if you like. As it was cold in February I was thinking of Spring and the colours that would soon be here, the grass the flowers there was almost yellow in this blanket for the daffodils but I changed my mind to peach and I'm glad I did. This is a lovely colour combination.
