Full description
This is a simple and elegant contemporary embroidery, using hand and machine stitching and a sprig of cow parsley, pressed and dried, gathered from the lanes of Cheshire. It has been mounted on silky fabric with a spiral design flecked with copper, and then stitched to a linen background.
I have added the Latin name for cow parsley, reminiscent of botanical specimens and collections.
It is framed in a silvery frame, with a white mount and can be freestanding or hung on the wall. Measurements: 21cm x 26cm or 8inches x 10 inches.
