Full description
Ceramic button approximatelly 4.5cm diameter, hand made using white earthenware clay.
The clay is hand rolled and then cut using a round 4.5cm cutter. After cleaning and making the holes I have applied a clear glaze and fired to 1100 degrees.
Next I have applied a decal of a beautiful hand embroidered bird from a photo I have taken, then re fired the buttons to 800 degrees.
The button has two small holes for stitching to fabric.
Buttons can be handwashed at a low temberature. Do not leave soaking in water.
All of my buttons are hand made so there may be slight variations and small imperfections.
