Full description
This brooch is great for adding a bit of fun to jumpers, coats, bags and hats.
I've used a combination of techniques including freemotion machine sewing for the main outline of the lady on a calico fabric. I've then layered two complementary coloured fabrics in between and golden yellow felt for the backing. The layers have been hand sewn around the edge with yellow embroidery thread.
The lady has gold silk hairslides in her bob haircut and embroidery thread cheek highlights.
The size is 5cm high by 4.5cm wide.
There is a catch brooch pin sewn to the back.
The brooch is presented on a coloured luggage label with string tie as shown in the final image.
