About this item
This dish is made from a creamy stoneware clay and holds the impression of a beautiful seed head. Glazed in my favourite marbled blue, the combination of texture and colour work beautifully together. It measures approx 8cm x 8cm and the underside is left unglazed with a light fabric texture. Perfect to use as a soap dish, this item can be washed with soapy water. I don’t recommend putting it in the dishwasher and it is not suitable for use with food. Every piece has been lovingly hand crafted from wet clay, fired, glazed and fired again. Your dish may have slight variations from the pictures above.

I love making pretty homeware and gifts. I created this dish to be a functional keepsake that will last for years to come. The making process is lengthy with many stages.... -Hand making, impressing pattern and forming dish in stoneware clay -Bisque firing to 1070 degrees -Cooling -Glazing -Glaze fire to 1260 degrees -Cooling again
