This notebook/ journal has been created using traditional bookbinding methods. I have left the spine exposed, as I think it a shame to hide this particularly attractive feature.
This hardback book is covered with calico book-cloth (not recycled) onto which I have printed sections of a vintage dress pattern.The book can be secured with twisted red linen threads attached to the cover with vintage laundry buttons.
The book contains 110 pages: 10 signatures, or 55 folios (folded pages), of assorted recycled or scavenged papers and 5 brown handmade envelopes.
Measurements: height 10.8 cm, width 10.5 cm and depth 2.5 cm ( 4 1/4" x 4 1/8" x 1")
