About this item
This very small notebook has been created using traditional bookbinding methods. I have left the spine exposed, as I think it a shame to hide this particularly attractive feature. Rather than using traditional linen tape, I have used a piece of measuring tape and sewn the binding with some of my own hand dyed pink linen thread ribbon. The book covers are made with book board covered in calico book cloth (not recycled) onto which I have printed images taken from a vintage sewing pattern. The book can be secured with a small vintage laundry button and twisted linen threads. Measurements: height 6.8 cm, width 6.5 cm and depth 2.5 cm ( 2 6/8 " x 2 5/8" x 1") The book contains 10 signatures, or 60 folios (folded pages), of assorted recycled and scavenged papers. The book will be sent via 1st Class recorded delivery. International shipping is via standard airmail.
