This handmade A6 size knitting notebook has been made from fabric by Sarah Waterhouse, who is a textile printer and designer. She spends time silk-screening her designs on to fabric. The fabric is hand printed with a knitting design that comprises of red balls of yarn with needles on a white background. It is an organic cotton and hemp fabric. On the front of the notebook I have stitched the words “Knitting Notes”.
The notebook has seven signatures which I have stitched together using red hemp twine. A white elastic closure has been attached to the reverse, so that you can keep the inside of the notebook secure.
This unique handmade notebook would make an ideal gift for someone who loves to knit. It is lovely to look at, but is also very useful and practical.
Measurements: Notebook is A6 size, 11.5 cm (4.5 ins) wide x 15.5 cm (6 ins) long. All sizes are approximate.
