About this item
This fine silver feather inspired necklace is quite big, for those of us who like to wear our pendants larger - it measures approx. 2 x 5.5 cm and weighs approx. 11g. Supplied on a 16" sterling silver curb chain and in a black gift box. Hallmarked on the reverse with my unique makers mark from the Birmingham Assay Office. This was made using fine silver clay and hand rolled and cut to the design. Ref: 75

Feathers are truly magnificent things - I love finding them when out and about. Feathers are highly symbolic in many cultures - often referring to a close link with the spiritual realm. The Celts and the Egyptians both believed them to help their connection with the Sky Gods. In Christian cultures, feathers are associated with the virtues of faith, hope and charity. Feathers also figure prominently in Native American culture.
