These catnip fish toys are the result of my attempts to develop a catnip toy which can fit in the cheaper Large Letter class we have here in the UK (under 1"). I finally came up with these fish toys - they are quite flat as their only stuffing is a layer of fleece and a heaped teaspoon of DELICIOUS catnip! Their fins are made from offcuts from the collar-making process. Due to their light, flat nature they are great for batting and flipping about. Lots of fun!
The fish are about 9cm long and 5cm wide, and approximately 1-1.5cm deep. However they are handmade so they do vary, as you can see from the photos! You get three in a pack and they are made from co-ordinating new cotton fabric in raspberry red, olive green, and turquoise with lighter polka dots. The fins are made from offcuts from my collar making process so most of the fish are unique. Please note I cannot post these out of the EU due to import restrictions on catnip. The fish are kept in an airtight container all together to keep them nice and pungent until they are purchased.
For durability these fish are machine stitched twice to keep the mice in one piece for as long as possible. However no toy can stand up forever to determined and prolonged feline attack; if they start falling apart please discard the toy for your cat's safety.
