When I came across this pattern in a Japanese sewing book I could hardly wait to try it out. I use old bits of curtain or other recycled fabric and match up the inside and the outside with a nice bit of a contrast. This one is a lovely green with a beautiful bit of floral cotton curtain inside. I finished it off with a line of hand stitching and now here it is - ready for you to take your lunch to work or your freshly made scones to the picnic! It is about 15 inches from the top of the ties to the bottom of the bag, about 10 inches wide
