As an occasional knitter, I've found fabric buckets really useful to hold wool and keep it in one place. They are useful for all sorts of small items around the home.

Full description
I've made this fabric bucket to hold the wool for a small project, to be popped by a chair while a knitter or crocheter is at work. I've made it from a lovely Cath Kidston floral fabric, it's lined (with a white polka dot on pink), and interfaced so it holds its shape. It will hold two or three balls at a time, and is just a tidy way to keep a project in the one place.
It is approx 13 cm in height by 15 cm diameter. Please note the wool and crochet needle are not included, but just used for the pictures to give an idea of size. I have a slightly larger fabric bucket also available.
The bucket would make a lovely present for a knitter or for someone who crochets.
