About this item
Recycling of silver spoons is not a new concept, it has been going on since the 17th century. Servants would pilfer the silver cutlery from their masters house to fashion into wedding rings. I liked the idea of re-using antique and vintage cutlery and fashioning them into something that could be worn, appreciated and possibly passed on to following generations. This ring had a former life as a coffee spoon as part of a set of six, assayed in Sheffield in 1924, the original hallmark is on the spoon bowl. I have textured the bowl of the spoon, and added a patina to the ring. Size "N" Can be resized by 1 or 2 sizes. Very individual and 100% recycled. Supplied with a presentation box Made in my home in North Wales
