This handmade notebook was made from navy blue organic cotton velvet. It was lovely to work with. I have appliquéd a lighthouse on the front of the notebook and a beach hut on the back.
I hand stitched the eight signatures together using pink hemp twine. The spine has been left exposed because I think it is a nice feature to this handmade notebook. Please note there are irregularities with this handmade note book the cutting and folding of the paper is not perfectly flush.
The notebook with the addition of luxury velvet would make a beautiful gift. It is lovely to look at, but is also a very useful and practical.
