I like lightweight brooches that can be worn on knitwear etc., and this gold plated copper wire (1mm) is a lovely bright colour. I have used the same colour wire, in a finer gauge to wrap some bottom loops to add some texture and included some very pale pink swarovski, so there are a number of surfaces and textures catching the light.

A lightweight handmade brooch in gold plated copper wire, with added wire and crystal beads for texture. This brooch measures almost 7cm (3 ins) across.
