Seeing a beautifcul shetland shawl in all its glory inspired me to try and knit some of these beautiful but complicated patterns.

Full description
A small scarf knitted in a shetland pattern using fine baby lace alpaca yarn. It is incredibly light and warm and just long enough to tuck into the collar of a coat or a polo sweater. Knitted in a natural cream colour it is 95cm (38 inches) long and 30cm (12 inches) wide.
It is slightly IMPERFECT as the border is not perfectly fitted around one end (see photo) - it is not noticeable and this imperfection is reflected in the price.
