About this item
A contemporary piece of Textiles artwork, created entirely from threads and fibres. Would look fabulous with a purple and grey scarf/winter coat combination. The circle is created by free-machine embroidery onto vanishing muslin, a fabric that dissolves hence only the stitching remains. Shades of purple and blue have been randomly combined. These are topped with handmade felt (using the wet-felting method) in lime green tones, with further free-machine embroidery in a silver metallic thread. To finish the circle is hand embroidered with French knots in purple, then embellished with a sprinkling of lilac and turquoise seed beads. The product is backed with a grey felt circle and a 4.5cm brooch pin. Size: Approximately 8cm diameter, however, please note the unpredictable nature of free machining can alter size and shape slightly. FREE UK postage and packaging.
