Every year when the pomegranates come into season and we have a basket of them nestled in raffia in a basket on the counter of the best fruit and veg shop in the world where I work I think how lovely they are. This year I cut one open and sketched the lovely patterns the seeds make inside, mixed in a bit of artistic license, cut the stencils and started to print.
