Inspired by the magical Wood Nymph butterfly and bluebell woods in spring.
This image developed from an original drawing in my sketchbook, where I studied the intricate pattern detailing of the butterfly and created stylised fern forms.
The delicate butterflies hover over the curved ferns, waiting for their moment to silently flutter away...

An original handmade, limited edition two colour Lino print. Printed on handmade off white Japanese paper, part of an edition of 10.
Would make a great present for anyone with a love of Butterflies, childhood stories and fairytales!
Image size 15 x 12.5 cms. Paper size 23 x 15.3 cms
Each Print is signed, numbered and dated at the bottom.
The print comes unframed and unmounted, covered with clear plastic and sent in a secure hardbacked envelope.
