Atomic Heart pendant

'Atomic' heart. A bashed, beaten and bruised heart with a beauty of its own! This sterling silver heart is hammered and oxidised to create texture and an aged patina. It features 4 'atoms' of sterling silver, one of which is topped with a 5mm gemstone of your choice. Shown here are Ameythst, Malachite, Carnelian and Garnet (worn). I had added a bail for the chain to one side of the heart so that it hangs asymmetrially adding futher interest to this quirky piece. The heart is convexed so that it sits well against the chest. This piece measures approximately 2.5cm in height and is supplied with a sterling silver chain which has another tiny atom at the end that drops down prettily against the neck. The chain has two fittings making it versatile in length: breastbone (45cm/18inch) or cleavage (50cm/20inch) and the pendant looks adorable at both lengths. The chain can be oxidised (blackened) or left as shiny silver. Perfect for Valentine's, a special birthday or a wedding gift.
