These kits came out of my two passions of craft and teaching. My children and their friends love making them for themselves and as gifts for each other. They especially like the fact that they are handmade and love the history and story behind sock monkeys which I have included in the kits. They've been very popular with my market and craft fair customers who send the sock monkey workshop pictures of their completed monkeys. We hope you enjoy making them as much as us.

Full description
This sock monkey kit was born out of a love of Americana and kitsch and is handmade in Devon. This kit contains everything you need to make Babs, your own adorable traditional Rockford Red Heeled Sock Monkey. When completed Babs measures 17 inches or 43.5cm from head to toe. She is pictured in the gallery and if you wish to buy a made up Babs please contact me.

The kit comes in attractive retro style recyclable packaging. It makes an ideal gift for you or a craft loving friend and can be easily completed by children over eight.
The completed sock monkey is not suitable for under threes due to button eyes but these can be substituted for embroidered eyes if you wish.
