The images are striking and to a certain extent stark so needed a strong coloured background. The dark toned and chalk textured Annie Sloan graphite paint makes a perfect base for such a bold statement and although difficult to work with as the dark colours are difficult to cover it is one of our current favourites

Full description
Opulent vase painted in Annie Sloan graphite with decoupaged images of tulips. Completed with high gloss varnish it is also lightly blushed with gold coloured metallic gilding paste. The vase is 22 cms tall and makes a bold statement of colour and shape. This is unique as we do not use exactly the same images twice on the same shape.
