I first made one of these lampshades for my daughter's Reiki practice - she says that as the light shines through the lovely energy of the words is carried out into the room.

Love and Light Mixed Medley ... a lovely paper lampshade created from salvaged music paper.
Vintage sheet music has been salvaged and re-purposed to create this lampshade, with lyrics from various love songs scattered through.
The lamp shade is made by applying handcut circles to a round paper shade with a wire structure inside so the finished lantern is quite strong and durable.
Each lantern is unique: yours may differ from the one featured as the pages are original and not duplicated. It looks lovely hanging up and amazing when lit.
The perfect finishing touch for a vintage or modern decor. The warm cream colour of old sheet music is the perfect antidote to the harsh coolness of energy effeicient bulbs.
The listing is for the paper shade only and is designed for use with a standard ceiling pendant type lamp holder.
The lamp shade is created with a 12" (30.5cm) diameter paper lampshade. Use an 11 watt Eco low energy light bulb for fire safety, the environment, and to protect the lampshade's condition.
Packaged for shipping in a strong mailing box, carefully wrapped to arrive safely.
