Please welcome Rita..a bright and colourful kind of girl; friendly, cheerful and warm, Rita will bring a smile to even the most curmudgeonly among us!
This sunny little bird has an upper body made from a retro flower print cotton - the stylised design has a 60's influence and I really like it's cheery colours and innocence! Keeping with the cheerful palette, I have paired the cotton print fabric with a yolk yellow felt breast!
Rita has wings that combine the cotton and felt fabrics.
I have given her a pale tan felt beak and eyes that are made from tiny black seed-beads centred on little circles of ivory coloured felt.
Gorgeous Rita is nicely rounded in shape, with a tummy full of polyester toy filling, and stands happily on re-purposed copper wire legs.
Post is first class.
