The cushion was born when I fell in love with the fabric, but I wanted to embellish it and add a little bit of colour.

A beautiful applique cushion for the bedroom or living room, using Cath Kidston and Japanese script fabric.
I've appliqued a stunning bird and branch fabric, picking out the bird and leaves with a pretty Cath Kidston floral (for the bird) and a script fabric by my favourite Japanese designer, Suzuko Koseki which was bought in Japan for me by a friend. This would make a lovely cushion for a bed. This listing is for the large cushion shown in the main picture - I have three available, two large and one smaller, and each has its own listing.
It is 46 cm x 50 cm . It is supplied with an inner pad (which is 50 x 50, but the cushion comes up smaller as I made the cover slightly smaller to make this one plumper than its twin (see other listing).
My applique cushion is fully lined, and has a zip closure (this one has a white zip). The back is the same fabric, but not embellished with applique. Any questions, please ask. It is cotton/polycotton mix, while the lining is cotton, and can be gently handwashed, but please wash inside out. It needs a cool iron.
