My applique cushions were born when I fell in love with the fabric, but I wanted to embellish it and add a little bit of colour.

A beautiful applique cushion for the bedroom or living room, using Cath Kidston and Japanese script fabric.
I've appliqued a stunning bird and branch fabric, picking out the bird and leaves with a pretty Cath Kidston floral (for the bird) and a script fabric by my favourite Japanese designer, Suzuko Koseki which was bought in Japan for me by a friend. This would make a lovely cushion for a bed.
It is 35 cm x 35 cm (14 in x 14 in). It is supplied with an inner pad.
My applique cushion is fully lined, and has a zip closure. The back is the same fabric, but not embellished with applique. Any questions, please ask. It is cotton/polycotton mix, while the lining is cotton, and can be gently handwashed, but please wash inside out. It needs a cool iron.
