If you're vintage (like me) you will remember Jamboree bags... one shilling got you a paper bag and inside were sweets, a plastic gift, joke and fact. It was always a surprise what was inside!
With my craft jamboree bags too it's just like Forest Gump says "You never know what you're gonna get"!!!
Thought it would be fun to make up some craft jamboree bags - enough "Stuff" of one/two colours to inspire you to make a small project - a brooch, a mini monster or cards maybe??? Possibilities are endless!!
The pictures show an example of the type of materials you will get in your jamboree bag, each bag will be different but all bags will include;
A cotton reel, at least 10 buttons and beads, ribbons, trim or lace, fabric and other bits and pieces. Some pieces will be used and others new.
Great gift for someone just starting out in crafts too - or for someone making up a "make do and mend" basket.
So have fun...and come back and show me what you've made in the Folksy Forums!
