Full description

I love campervans and thought I'd have a go at a knitting pattern. This was the result and I hope you'll have lots of fun making the cosies, especially with Easter just around the corner!

This is a knitting pattern to make an egg cosy based on the classic VW Splitscreen Van. It's perfect for "Stash Busting" so you can use up all those odd bits of of yarn.

The pattern will be sent to you in PDF format so you'll need Adobe Reader to open it (you can get this free if you don't already have it at www.adobe.com)

What you'll need:

I've based this pattern using double knitting (DK) yarn on UK no. 9 needles (US size 5, metric 3.75mm). You just need oddments in three colours - one for the body, one for the roof& bumpers (fenders) and one for the windows. You'll also need three buttons (lights and badge) and a small piece of ribbon for the top.

You'll need some knowledge of knitting as you're working with two colours on a row. The stitches used are stocking stitch and some garter stitch with a couple of rows of shaping.

The pattern is my own design so please just keep it for yourself.

Thank you and have fun!

NOTE: PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM BOX IF YOU ORDER A PATTERN - I AIM TO SEND THEM OUT WITHIN 24HOURS BUT SOME HAVE BEEN ENDING UP AS JUNK MAIL. ANY PROBLEMS, PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE THROUGH FOLKSY.

THANK YOU :)
