This is a softly variegated yarn which slowly changes colour along its length. The wavy pattern helps to bring this out and gives quite an impressionist effect, I think.

Full description
This is a warm slouchy hat, crocheted in a sky-blue yarn with marbled hints of dark turquoise and mauve. There are two shaggy tassels firmly attached to the crown, and the fit is relaxed to keep your ears really warm!
Material - James C. Brett Marble DK.
Measurements - 57cm circumference, 23cm from tassels to edge.
