About this item
A pretty arrangement of a red rose, rose buds and gypsophila forms the focus of this knitted and embroidered brooch. A lovely Valentines gift perhaps? The background of this heart-shaped brooch has been firmly knitted, in a wool and alpaca yarn, using moss stitch for textural interest. The flowers have been embroidered, in simple stitches, using a 'knitted' ribbon yarn, soft white merino yarn and tapestry wool. The brooch is reinforced with a layer of heavy interfacing. The back of the brooch is neatened with felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place. Height: 5.5 cm approx Please note: items from Lynwoodcrafts are intended for adults.
