This needle book was born out of necessity. For too many years I have been using scrap bits of fabric as a nest for my needles. I thought they deserved something better. So I made one for myself and one for my shop.
This would make a lovely gift for someone who loves sewing or if you are a sewer why not treat yourself?
Made from lovely natural linen and embellished with my raw edge applique design using free machine embroidery and Cath Kidston fabric. It has a cute little sentiment on the front 'Needle Home' in chocolate brown thread. Inside there is a contrasting CK lining and pink felt inlays which pick out one of the colours from the front of the book.
The case is slightly padded to protect and care for your needles.
There is a luscious band of Laura Ashley Heath Green fabric encircling the book and the tab is fastened with a press stud (snap fastener)
This will also allow me to sew on the go.
