Full description
Amazing brown spalting, showing the characteristic zone lines and fantastic range of colouring. The wood came from a storm-damaged tree near Dunkeld in Perthshire, turned by me in Perth, Scotland. It's heavy and solid, useable and beautiful. It's about 7" across and 3" deep, finished in lemon oil.
