This listing is for a single ‘nature notes’ manila notebook/sketchbook.
About the materials: This little notebook is 10.5cm across and 14cm tall. The cover is made of pH neutral, 100% recycled manila card - a lovely sturdy board with a light brown tone and slightly ‘hairy’ feel. It contains 20 pages of bright white, unlined, 100% recycled 100gsm paper.
I have cut the pages myself and securely staple-bound them at the spine. Due to the handmade nature of the product, there may be some very slight variation in page size.
About the design: The notebook is part of my ‘nature notes’ series, depicting endangered British wildlife. This one features the brown hare, which has declined in numbers rapidly in recent decades due to changes in UK farming practices.
The creature template has been hand-illustrated by me, cut out of colourful paper and fixed firmly to the cover. I am unable to find any more of this paper design, so this really is a one-off creation!
A length of jute twine have been added to each cover, so the notebook can be wrapped and tied securely shut. I have also added a bright pocket to the inside of the back cover, to keep loose notes and important finds nice and safe.
This notebook would make an excellent stocking filler for anyone interested in wildlife or list-making!
