i made this felt forget-me-not brooch from several layers of vibrantly coloured felt the flowers are made up of two pieces of felt and all hand sewn.
This brooch is lightly padded and has a layer of board to stop it going floppy! It has a safety pin securely stitched to the backing - i prefer to use these fasteners as they allow the brooch to lie close to whatever they are pinned to!
these brooches are quite time consuming to sew, as reflected in the price.
in the victorian language of flowers forget-me-nots mean true love.
