This turned in shepherd’s crook with Rams Head is hand carved and shaped from ash wood. Ideal for walkers, hikers or just taking the dog to the park. It is hard wearing and strong and will become a trusted friend for life. Ash is favoured for its strength and relative light weight. Used extensively in horse carriage construction and some famous sports cars. The handle is mounted on a Hazel staff with a mixture of bone and buffalo collar. The finished crook has been oiled and polished to release the natural beauty of the grain. The polish will improve with use. The Crook is 49” (123cm) tall and can be fitted with a brass or rubber ferule. The Crook can be shortened to your height before despatch if needed. Just stand upright and measure from your breast bone to the floor approximately six inches in front of you and quote this length when ordering.
