About this item
A much used expression in our house is 'Pigs Might Fly'. Well, sometimes they do, especially here on Planet Penny! I have two, looking to fly to a new home, a good reminder of the possibilities of realising one's dreams. They are needlefelted in Merino wool which I dye myself, and embellished with hand dyed Blue-faced Leicester Yarn and have a hanging loop on the back. Every thing I make is individually made and completely unique so one of two pigs flies to the left and the other to the right so if you are buying let me know which one you prefer. They are approximately 16cm/6.5inches long and come complete with a pretty beribboned gift bag. Needlefelting is a labour intensive method of dry felting using a barbed needle which turns the soft fluffiness of carded fleece into a firm woollen sculpture. This is a collectors' item, not a toy.
