Embellished Metallic Leather cuff/bracelet
(from the Quiet Princess’s Casket)
Gracie has been fascinated by the Quiet Princess’s story for a long time. As her title suggests The Quiet Princess spoke very few words and when she did speak her quiet utterances were barely audible. It is legendary that the Princess had pieces of jewellery made to represent her feelings and quiet words. She kept her pieces in a special casket and Gracie has been creating a Quiet Princess casket of her own. This cuff indicates a romantic mood!
The cuff is made of dark silver metallic leather and features a vintage silver and white floral appliqué backed with beige wool mix felt. The whole cuff is lined with good quality beige wool mix felt and has two eyelets into which slim dark cream ribbon has been interlaced. The ribbon has also been laced through a painted ceramic button which then ties into a bow.
Cuff measures 2.5cm/1” deep (but the appliqué is 2” high at highest point) and 18cm/7” long when laid flat but as the ribbon ties are adjustable it will fit any size wrist.
Has been all hand stitched and no glue has been used.
Is lightweight and sits beautifully on the wrist. Ideal for a summer wedding or just a gorgeous summer day or evening!
Comes gift wrapped and would make a wonderful gift.
Each 'gracie make' is lovingly sewn by hand and often feature vintage materials so no two pieces are ever exactly same.
