Measures 17cm x 13 cm and stands 10cm tall excluding metal feet.
This wooden treasure chest shaped box has been altered by adding layers of colour and texture. materials used include; Mica mists in three shades, embossing enamels, texture paste, inks and coper wax gilding.
The stamped Image has been coloured and stained to match the look I have given the box. it was decoupaged on to the box before the texture was added.
I have further enhanced the box by adding several metal ornamental embellishments such as metal corners on the front, copper and brass filigree tear-drop ornaments a metal plaque frame, cogs and a brass dragonfly.
All my Altered and hand crafted items are designed and handmade by myself using various techniques to gain different effects.I retain the copyright on all of my work. Purchase does not provide reproduction rights.
