Brie or Camembert baker handthrown in stoneware
Description
Perfect for baking Camembert, brie, Camembert au Calvados to name just a few!
Try studding a Camembert with garlic cloves and rosemary sprigs and adding a splash of wine.
Bake at 220 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes.
Serve warm with fresh bread.
This dish would also make a good small casserole or vegetable server.
I threw this dish on my pottery wheel using strong white stoneware clay.
The lid is made from the same clay rolled out and then textured.
I have finished it in a lovely cloudy pale green satin reactive glaze which shows up the texture on the lid really well.
Dimensions--9cm high (to the top of the handle)and 15cm across.
Internal height 3cm.
Weight 825gm.
Oven,dishwasher and microwave safe.
