I like to use different materials to texture clay, with this piece I have used a patterned paper and some course linen to impress into the clay.

Full description
A stoneware bowl with a repeat leaf embossed design textured on the underside with course linen fabric. The bowl features a roughened rim around the edge of the bowl made by tearing the clay whilst wet.
Glazed internally with a beautiful verdigris glaze which has a matt surface and a stunning mottled effect. The outer side left unglazed.
This bowl can be used to hold a manner of items, perfect for fruit or nuts as shown in the photograph.
Measures approximately 24cm x 6cm depth.
Will come carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and strong box.
