Thank you for calling into Plumporridge. My name is Amanda and, like many other shopkeepers on this parade, my love of crafting began as a child sitting beside Mum at her sewing machine. At school, I had a wonderful needlework teacher, who drilled us mercilessly in sewing techniques but allowed us to rebel enough to develop our creativity. One day she took us to London to gawp at the fabric in John Lewis and Liberty and I've loved fabric ever since. I dabble in other crafts but the whirr of the sewing machine always lures me back.

ITEM DESCRIPTION - I will try to describe my items as accurately as possible and provide the best pictures that I can, but if anything is still unclear please contact me so that I can do better! Sometimes I use vintage or pre-used items and will state this in the listing, otherwise you can presume materials used are new.
PAYMENT -
Please pay within three days of committing to buy.
I will accept Paypal, personal cheque or postal order from customers in the UK, but Paypal only from overseas buyers.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING -
Overseas buyers, please contact me before buying so that I can give you an accurate price for postage of your item.
I usually quote for 2nd class postage in my listings.
Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper and securely packaged. Outer packaging may be recycled as I am lucky enough to be given lots of clean re-useable stationery, and can therefore keep costs down and charge very little for packaging. I usually post out the day after receiving cleared payment and will let you know when your parcel is on it's way.
I will combine postage for multiple purchases wherever possible, and will refund the agreed amount to you at the end of the transaction.
RETURNS - Every care is taken to ensure customer satisfaction, but if you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me to arrange for a refund including P&P. I will ask that the item is returned unused, in saleable condition and in original packaging within 7 days of you receiving it. The return postage is the responsibilty of the buyer except in a case where I have supplied faulty goods or misrepresented the item.
