I started making jewellery about 15 years ago. I was originally booked onto a printmaking course which was cancelled - they asked if I'd like to switch to silver jewellery, and I thought why not?! I immediately loved it, and joined further classes. Now I make my jewellery from home in my little studio that takes up more and more of the spare room! I love holidays by the sea, and my jewellery often incorporates beachcombing finds such as pebbles, shells or seaglass. I mainly use recycled sterling silver, re-using both my leftover bits and pieces and also buying recycled wire and sheet to work with where at all possible.
