Twisting copper and silver wire into beautiful wearable art

Hello, my name is Wendy and I have a passion for making jewellery using wire. It all started back in 2010 when I was unable to find suitable jewellery for my wedding and decided to make some simple necklaces and earrings for my friends and family. That's when I discovered the incredible work of James Ferris from Lonely Soldier Designs and the Glastonbury Wire Work Studio (known as Minerva Beads at the time) and booked a one-on-one session with him. I was instantly hooked!

Over the years, I have attended several week-long workshop retreats to learn from wirework legends such as Imnium and Nicole Hanna. Currently, I work from my small home studio in Wantage, Oxfordshire, where I make jewellery alongside my part-time therapy business and work for a homeless charity. Additionally, I teach basic wirework skills through a local craft organization. As if that's not enough to keep me busy, I also have a very supportive husband and a super fluffy black cat to look after.
