A Creative Journey Springing from a Crossroads in Life

Hi! I'm Kim. My passions are positivity, travel, and creating!

After making jewellery as gifts for friends and family over the years, I decided to take it to the next level and create my Folksy shop!

As I wanted to see more of the world, I put my shop down for a nap while I travelled around Canada, making friends with bears and munching on maple syrup. I've returned home to Scotland with a revived passion for my old dreams, and we're back in action under a new name - Trots of Life.

I hope to grow my shop and one day make it my full-time job, giving me the freedom to do what I love from anywhere in the world - with a pet dog companion of course!

I love the natural world and have incorporated this into my designs, using gemstones and natural materials to create items that have an earthy, bohemian feel. Using colours and shapes that are found in nature, I hope that to the wearer my jewellery will bring colour, personality and life.

When I'm not making jewellery, you'll find me out hiking, biking or chasing the sun! I'm a big fan of the outdoors, and when I look at a new design I've just finished, I know it was inspired by somewhere special: landscapes; lakes; the sea. Just have a poke around my shop and you'll see!
