I make individual hand crafted items from recycled materials.

Hi, I'm Tracy, and I love knitting, crochet, and sewing. I also love all animals, and I'm a keen novice Beekeeper, and currently foster mum to a hedgehog called Yum Yum, for the winter.

All the profits from the items in my shop, are going to a local good cause, Darlington & Aycliffe Hedgehog Helpers. It is run on two sites by two amazing ladies who devote their lives to helping these little creatures in need.

Every spring and autumn there are hundreds of more hedgehogs needing their assistance, either to remove ticks, rid of many illness that they suffer from, or to fatten them up so they have a chance of making it through hibernation. This is costly and apart from donations the ladies fund it themselves, so is a very worthy cause.

Buying from me

All my owls are made from left over wool, felt and embroidery cotton, and finished with recycled buttons and beads. Each owl is unique, and I believe that the odd wonky stitch, and crooked eye, adds to its character and charm.
These items are not toys, and are not suitable for small children due to the embellishments.

All profit from the sale of these owls will go to a local good cause, Darlington & Aycliffe Hedgehog Helpers.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
