Celebrate Yourself!

The Jean Genie was born out of National Lockdown 2020 in Liverpool, UK. I began by up-cycling old jeans through hand-painted designs and slowly progressed to hand painting tote bags!

I encourage eco - friendly practices, from my biodegradable packaging to the totes that encourage people to step away from single-use plastic! Carbon Literacy trained - eco-friendly methods are extremely important to me.

Eventually, I decided to release my own prints. Painting has always been a huge passion of mine, and I decided it was the right time to finally sell my own work. I combined my passion for painting with the desire to encourage individuality, self-expression, and empowerment through body positive paintings!

The jean genie specialises in handpainted tote bags and prints, where individuality and self-expression is the driving undercurrent to all of our products. Our totes are available for personalisation and commissioned paintings are also available too.
Our prints are made using recycled materials at Print.Works, Leeds.
