I'm Daisy, a watercolour artist and illustrator based in the Nottinghamshire, UK.
I've had a passion for drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, and would sit for hours doodling away as a child.
Now I usually focus on watercolour paintings, taking inspiration from traditional botanical artwork, ink drawings, woodland creatures and the countryside that surrounds me.
I try to combine traditional and abstract elements, and I love old botanical lithographs and ink drawings. Whether flowers, foxes, deer or birds, most of my work involves watercolours and ink to create intricate works, but with a contemporary twist. By combining soft watercolour washes with inky illustrations, I intend to capture the viewers imagination and with a whimsical twist.
