About Sue Coo Art

Sue Coo Art

Original Hand Printed Art and Cards from my Studio in the beautiful West Sussex Countryside.

Sue is an Artist, Printmaker, Designer and Tutor. She started exhibiting her work in 2011 after completing a Fine Art Degree.

Working from her studio in the West Sussex countryside using a combination of photography and sketching, as well as drawing on her own personal experiences and memories, Sue creates images which are primarily of Sussex and the surrounding area. She is both a printmaker and painter. However, she is currently working predominately with lino printing.

Sue’s textile designs have been sold to international companies including IKEA, TJ Maxx and Pottery Barn. Her wall art has also appeared on the BBC Drama series ‘Cuffs’. She is a member of artist run gallery, Chalk, in Lewes and exhibits annually with the Adur Art Collective, Hassocks Artists and in the Horsham Contemporary Art Fair, now known as the HAOS Art Fair. She also regularly exhibits with the Brighton Open Houses.

Both the Worthing Museum and the Horsham Museum stock prints and greetings cards which they sell in their shops. ‘Cherry Picked For You’ publish a selection of images as greetings cards and these are available to buy in outlets throughout Sussex and the South East including the National Trust, The Towner Gallery and The Royal Pavilion Shop. Her work is also exhibited in a number of local businesses. Please visit her website at www.suecollinsart.com for more information.

In conjunction with Made and Making Sue regularly runs lino printing workshops from the studio at the South Downs Heritage Centre, Hassocks. www.madeandmaking.co.uk
