I have loved to sew all of my life! I made soft toys by hand from the age of 6 which I sold to kind neighbours, and started making my own clothes when I was 10 years old.I still make my own clothes and sometimes also for my family too!

I started Strawberry Village in 2024. I initially made wash bags and makeup bags and the range is growing all the time. I love selling face to face at craft markets but want to reach a wider audience so am excited to be part of the Folksy community.

Why Strawberry Village? I live in Tiptree, the home of world famous Wilkin jams and preserves. Often when I meet people and tell them where I am from they have said “oh the strawberry jam village!”

Delighted with these book sleeves, one of which reminds me a dear friend, no longer with us, and it perfectly enfolds a precious book given by her. The other is the perfect size for another treasured book.....very very pleased with my purchases - and the quality is great too....

Beautifully made kindle sleeves in gorgeous fabrics that I will be giving as presents! I couldn’t help but treat myself to a book sleeve too! It fits my sketch book perfectly so I don’t have to worry about my work getting dog-eared whilst in my rucksack! Swift, well packaged delivery too, thank you!

The book sleeve is absolutely stunning, such a fantastic idea. My Son loves the Spitfire print and is storing his current book in it. Perfect for keeping his favourite books in good condition in his rucksack. Will buy more for other book loving relatives. Thank you for the beautiful packaging, the blue tissue paper was perfect.
